do cold shadow and darrknes damage take armour into effect? if not y dose the skill judges insight have 20% armour penatration? please help me

Concerning Judge's Insight, this is something I was confused at too. But I'll explain it as it was explained to me. Skills or items or what not that turn physical damage into a certain other type of damage do not take on any armor penetration effect.

Most, if not all, Lightning damage from spells have 25% armor penetration. Lightning damage for weapons does not.

Most, if not all, Holy damage from spells ignores all armor. Holy damage for weapons does not.

Judge's Insight turns weapon damage into Holy damage. This is beneficial for creatures/armor that have a weakness against holy damage or creatures/armor with a high defense against physical damage (since now it's not physical damage you are dealing). It does not provide complete armor penetration, therefore it has a nice bonus of 20% armor penetration.

Light, Dark (Shadow), and Chaos; these are not reduced by armor, although sometimes they are extra effective against foes.
